The boat seats four guests plus the captain. Listed rates are a starting point, so call or text with your group size and the captain will confirm pricing for your trip.
Yes. Every angler 17 and older needs a current Michigan fishing license. You can buy one in a couple of minutes on the Michigan DNR website before your trip.
The captain has the final say, and safety decides it. Light rain and normal chop are fishable and we go. Lightning, heavy wind, or heavy rain and we do not. If the captain cancels for weather, your deposit is refunded in full or moved to another date, whichever you prefer.
Not at all — that is a big part of why N&T Outfitters exists. Trips run for every skill level, and the Kids Fishing Lesson is built specifically for young or first-time anglers.
Bass trips are typically catch and release. Walleye and perch trips are the ones to book if you want to take fish home for the table. Talk it through with the captain when you book.
A $100 deposit holds the date, with the balance paid on the day of the trip. Call or text the captain to check what is open and get on the calendar.
At least 24 to 48 hours. The captain needs time to prep the boat, rig for the water you are fishing, and check conditions, so same-day and next-morning trips generally are not possible.
If the captain cancels — weather or any other justifiable reason — your $100 deposit is fully refundable. If you cancel without a justifiable reason, the deposit is not refunded. Life happens, so talk to him; he would rather move your date than lose you as a customer.
